Great Robotic Vacuum - Upgraded from Roomba 780

I have had Roombas for about 10 years now. Have been happy with them but our open plan house really didn’t suit the random algorithm that the Roomba uses. The Roborock is great to use since we can map different rooms and have complete control, even when we’re not home! I like the single brush better than the two on Roomba and think that it has a better side brush and dust bin system. It has been a worthwhile upgrade and hope it lasts like our Roomba has.

Good inverter, but fan profile needs adjusting.

Good unit but the fans are the real disappointment. The fans kick in if the unit is under load (700W), not even in a very hot environment with plenty of ventilation, this feature is great I love that the fans are reactive. The problem is that the fans don't spool down after the load has been removed, I'm talking hours afterward when the unit is cool to the touch. It appears that its looking for a very low temperature before turning them off. This is completely unnecessary as the unit is under zero load and the noise becomes an issue, with no benefit. Apart from that it's a solid inverter that seems run anything I throw at it.

Great filter membrane. Juat flush well first.

The directions recommend flushing for an hour. However we found that you need to flush for about 2-3 hours to get rid of any flavours. After that it works great!
