Peter O’toole is great once again!
As stated in my review of “Murphy’s War” Peter O’toole was a great actor that you couldn’t take your eyes off when he’s on screen. Another great character study of a flawed man by O’toole and the price of accountability.

A great adventure flick!
One of the best and most compelling actors of all time is Peter O’toole. Whether he was Lawrence of Arabia or Lord Jim he captured our attention and never let us go. The same is true of his character portrayal of Murphy. On a painstaking mission to revenge the loss of the crew and ship he was on against the blood thirty Germans. In the end he is once again alone having alienated both the German Uboat crew and his new friends but stays true to completing his mission no matter the costs to others or even himself.
