Multi-function cast iron cookpot; easy to use, easy care.
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought primarily for my sourdough baking (for years have been ‘making do’ with a covered roaster), but this is such a good all-rounder. As well as bread (where I use it upside down, with ‘lid’ as base) I’ve also tested it out on a slow cook beef casserole with outstanding results, and expect to use the lid alone in lieu of a frypan on the stovetop. Lodge comes pre-seasoned, and I was skeptical about whether food would still stick, but it doesn’t ! A light oil after cleaning makes for easy maintenance.
