I have used this product in the past, and was very pleased with the results. Chlorine no longer made our eyes red after a shower, and it also helped with sinus problems caused by chlorinated water. The problem came when we also installed an adjustable shower wand in conjunction with the GE filter. The plastic body of the filter could not support the added weight of the wand, and separated from the wall spigot, resulting in a broken filter, and a new, but useless, replacement filter. Make sure your plastic filter body will support the added weight and stress of any wand-type shower attachment.
