If you want more features, bigger display and a more updated headunit, then look no further than an Android Eonon 10: headunit. Best value for money!
Wow a great first Android head unit for my car! The large 10" display makes it for easier viewing, and the speed of the unit is quick. Inbuilt Wireless makes it easier to connect and less wiring to run as opposed to an external wireless antenna. One of main the main reasons for choosing an android was to be able to sync my Media Monkey CAR playlist which works very well. Now whenever I need to replace my play list, I simply make the change on Media monkey and my head unit will sync. Can also connect via Mobile data whilst on the road, should I choose to listen to something else via Media Monkey.
Android Auto is awesome. I choose to connect wirelessly without any issues. The ability to add other apps or even Routines to run particular apps or do certain things is great.
Had one issue during install where the ACC and Batt wires were not matched correctly to the Cars ISO wiring correctly. Swapping the wires fixed the issue and now I'm even more happy with the unit as it starts up instantly each time I start the car.
Overall I would recommended this unit and Brand to anyone thinking of going Android. If you need support, they are only an email away and the response is quick and thorough. More than happy to help. For the price I believe this to be much better value for money than some of the bigger brands (Sony, Kenwood, Pioneer, etc) and you pay less than they charge. Adding additional features is easy too, Rear cam, front cam, OBDE and so much more. Getting one of these gives you so much than the traditional simple head units.
