Phil Collins' reads his autobiography? Yes Please!
I already have the (irl) book which I loved reading, having been a PC fan since the 1980s. When I heard that the audio-book was read by the man himself, just had to purchase the CD set (10 discs if memory serves correctly).
The book was great. But the CDs absolutely bring alive the story told by the Genesis drummer and frontman, the jazz player, and the amazingly versatile musician/song-writer. Collins' earliest flirtation with "the biz" began when he attended talent school, performing in a stage show of "Oliver!" The life-long muso tells us he's not dead yet. Better still, his return to live performance promises a whole new chapter in this fallible, lovable, musical man's life.

The Book with No Pictures and the child with the belly laugh
Just brilliant. No pictures, but a promise to the child that the adult reading aloud has to read exactly what is written on the page - no matter what. I thought it may run out of steam, but this purchase is a second copy. My little friend laughed so loud and through so many re-reads, I think she needs a copy of her own.

Beautiful: characters, story, visuals and music. You need this!
This animated film is a classic. I'm so excited to be sharing it with my grandchildren, as their mother adored it. Wise Rafiki, silly Zazu and of course Simba, remind us why live performances of this story are still being performed the world over, around 25 years after the film was released.
