Ren Wax: a wax for all seasons
2 of 2 found this helpful I recently purchased Ren Wax for a Damascus blade. One day, I noticed some obvious scratches in the polyurethane finish of an electric guitar. I barely used any Renaissance Wax, but the scratches vanished. Hooray! I'm a believer.

Regular felt mallets with a thin soft outer layer
If you hold them by the thumb and pointer right in the rounded groove, the sticks resonate strongly. My two mallets have a difference of maybe a whole step between their resonant frequencies, and it's only noticeable on practice pads. The weight and balance feel fine and they're matched well enough. Construction seems very good.
