Love this book (and the Brontes). Just got into graphic novels. A good start.

    Kind, gentle read, with backbone.
Bought this for my Book Group. Really enjoyed reading. You would not know it was written by Graham Norton. It is a gentle look at a small village in Ireland, with one or two kind jokes thrown in. I loved it. Am looking for the other two books he has written.

    Read for Book Group
Oh dear, Sorry but I really disliked this book. As above I read it for my book group, which said "Any Muriel Spark" I started off with The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, which I enjoyed, not least from having seen the film with Maggie Smith. Thought I should read another book, but sad to say this was so DEPRESSING. Everyone over 70 was treated as though they were dying, and all their peer group, in the book, cheerfully looked for signs of degradation,. Dreadful and Miserable.
