AC/DC Adapter For Fluke PM8907/803 PM8907/813 Battery Charger ScopeMeter Power

It powers my used Fluke Scope meter 92B from ebay- took the batteries out to test it (success).

I got the used FLuke scope meter 92B from eBay and the plug in power adapter was useless; (voltage out put too low for this device - it was not the original adapter) so I needed a replacement... The manual says adapter should range from 8 to 20 volts @ 6 watts i Believe. This adaptor puts out 15 volts and it works with my Fluke 92B scope meter. (I tested it without the batteries.)

It functions as described and as it was designed to do.

The only thing I had to do was to remove the three phase plug and install a plug compatible with my power supply. After that I tested it with an eighth inch stick rod each of 6011, 7018, and 6010. It performed with steady arc. It has a hot start feature the allows power to increase for arc starts. I also tested it in TIG mode with a 26 series torch with valve and foot remote pedal. It initiates with touch start which is to say you must rock and touch tungsten to work piece and push foot pedal and rock the tungsten away to let the arc start. It changed the surface a little as it melted into the quarter inch thick web of the 4 inch channel at about 150 amps setting. I would always recommend looking up the manual to discover all its features and capabilities.

you need more space for this upgrade.

I recommend it but it is more than double the size of the original bottle holder. It takes up more room.
