Sony CDP-X202ES
Very well designed and well built cd player. I do not use all of the functions, but rather as a CDP into an external DAC to a tube amp. The sound quality produced from this combo is excellent. This s a very nice piece of equipment that has an excellent reputation. The whole ES series is very well regarded and you really can't go wrong with any of the models in this series. Excellent machine.

Technics SH90s headshell for TP4 type phono cartidges
fairly rare headshell used for listening to P-mount phono cartridges utilizing a turntable with a pivot arm, standard SME headshell type setup. This is the cadillac of adapters for a P-mount phono cartridge. This particular one was new in the box NOS and fairly priced. Excellent product.

Nikko Alpha 130 Power Amplifier
Nikko is a brand name that flies under the radar when most people are searching for stereo components. They made some very fine products. The Alpha line of power amps and the Beta line of preamplifiers fall into this category.
I have a number of Nikko Alpha power amplifiers as well as a matching number of Nikko Beta preamplifiers. I have nothing but praise for these components. They feature high quality construction, heft and musicality.
I always have my eye out for a deal with this brand name. They are still very well priced for a vintage component of this quality, and compare very favorably with Pioneer, Denon, Sansui, Sony and Technics components from the same era.
