Lghtweight, good quality outdoor time-piece.

This item s a very attractive outdoor timepiece (no chime). It has a clear and easily legible non illuminated dial). It is easy to mount, and has a reliable quartz battery powered movement. At this price it is good value. It has attracted many admiring comments. The only drawback from my viewpoint is that I don't understand the instructions for use of the thermometer/hygrometer function. I think it is only a thermometer, which is good enough, actually. Who needs a hygrometer?

Telescopic Extension Rod Wand Tube For Dyson Handheld battery DC31 DC34 DC35

Good quality, but a little heavy.

This metallic telescopic tube is robust, and provides extra reach. It lacks the power connections for a self powered head, but is suitable for the normal tools which come with a DC34. The plastic adaptors at each end of the tube fit by friction only (allowing the tube to be used with different diameter machines and tools. If you are sticking to Dyson handhelds, a spot of glue to help secure the adaptors to the tube might be useful. If you have a need for the versatility of a telescopic wand, I would recommend this. If you are looking for a lightweight wand which simply converts your DC34 into a sort of ersatz V6 (minus the power feed to the head) perhaps this isn't for you.

Makes DCC easy once you get it to work.

This is a really good product from Hornby and Railmaster, making DCC much less of an esoteric mystery for old DC hands like me. I really like the way I can control the layout from a Windows PC. It's simple to use, yet quite flexible. I eventually managed to download a trial version of the software. Edge or Google wouldn't do it, (their security won't download an 'exe' file from an http address) so I installed Opera, used it's VPN mode and managed it, phew). Then I ran the exe file as an administrator and it installed OK. What a rigmarole!
