Very poor fit and no security

The locking bar supplied is way too short to be of use - my door+fixed panel is 240cm total with each being half. The product pushes the door open such that the space to be filled with the lock bar is 90cm - I had to have a bar of my own cut to size to provide any security at all. The dog door is of reasonable build quality but the insulative piping and flaps are woefully inadequate. They are very skinny and do not close off the airflow (I have ended up using some of the packing material just to stop bugs getting through!) and the adhesive is weak. The dog door is much thinner than the track so there is a lot of play. Please also note the opening for the dogs is quite small - I have a Bichon and he is the biggest I think could fit through. On the positive the dogs do love being able to let themselves out and in.
