Not the best quality but it's the content that counts
I wish they'd bring this out in BluRay, but even at the lower resolution, it's one of my favorite shows made accessible again. I've only watched Season One so far, and I'm not in a position to argue the merits of the widescreen format over the original - it's been too long for me to remember. Certainly, it satisfies my need to watch the story again. The only real complaint I have is the music. Aside from the theme song, and Maria's cover of In the Air Tonight, none of it sounds familiar and the choices don't carry any emotional impact at least for me. They range from hard-rock-ish to ballad-ish, without being at all memorable or having any kind of "hook". I wish they'd kept the songs from the TV version! Over all, though, if you loved Roswell, this set is worth having.

Excellent sound for the price
I was surprised, upon receiving these, at their small size and weight. Honestly, they look cheap - but they were a breeze to set up and they have definitely added a strong extra dimension to the sound of my movies. I have the LG SJ5Y soundbar/subwoofer and it paired up automatically with these little speakers. Yes, there's a limit to what they can handle, but at anything like comfortable listening levels, I think I'd have to spend a lot more to hear a significant difference.

Although new, this disc wouldn't play pr...
Although new, this disc wouldn't play properly initially: it made a loud buzzing noise. I found something like a piece of lint stuck on the edge. Once I cleaned it, it was fine, and of course the 4k quality was much nicer than the old DVD I had. I only mention the problem in case someone else has the same problem, and the solution is simple.
