Huge upgrade from chenille!
If you're accustomed to tying with chenille, this stuff is next level. Really pops! Adds depth and enhances visibility. Endorsed by fish everywhere! If catch and release fish are conditioned to snub your chenille offerings, tie a few flies with pearl core braid and show them something new.

better than chenile
Tying san juan worms is easier due to the texture. Finished product looks much flashier than chenile. If I were a fish, I'd eat it.

Great product for the money
The LED lights worked well, as most are familiar with. I only use the laser to give the cats some exercise, but it works well, too. The big deal is the UV light. Originally I purchased it to help cure epoxy when tying flies. I also found it's a great way to help you find stuff in dark places, like under car seats. I lost a couple of hooks in the carpet once and couldn't find them. Then I remembered the UV light. I turned it on and found them immediately. It also works great when fishing with glow-in-the-dark lures. A few seconds under the UV light keeps them glowing bright underwater. Great item, would buy again!
