Dell XPS 15 9550 Signature Edition Laptop

GREAT LAPTOP made worse by the purchase experience Via Microsoft!
Not used to purchasing on line, I purchased the first Dell XPS 15 laptop through Microsoft at a cost of $1999.00! Loved it. So was always planning on purchasing a second one for my daughter but wanted to make sure all was good before I did so. Purchased the Second laptop at a cost of $1999.00 and wanted it here ready for my daughter to visit from interstate. She needed the laptop for a position she had recently got. Second one arrived and it was faulty, had been previously turned on also. I asked simply for an exchange but Microsoft EBAY refused. They took ages to send me the return label and then put the prices up. They made me many offers for similar laptops and then upgraded at the same price - none happened. Today they offered me a more expensive unit for more money! So Dell I suggest you revise your retail agents! I now have no lap top. Had already sent mine to my daughter as Microsoft had promised me in writing a new one! The word Microsoft and Dell now leave me with a sour taste in my mouth! I understand items have faults but replacement at the same cost should be paramount! Unfortunately the Dell site is also unfriendly and contacting someone to explain the issues with Microsoft very hard! Personally I would beware of ordering through Microsoft they have several negative remarks about replacement and faulty products.
