Great history book of one nasty storm. Easy, interesting read.
1 of 1 found this helpful This was such a good book. I really understood the reasons the immigrants came to the midwest, and the conditions they found there. It was well researched, and we followed the story of several families from their home country to the new world. I felt I really knew them, and their reasons for immigrating. And it was interesting to see how the science of weather predicting and mapping has evolved.
