Appropriate title
This is a terrific first solo-attempt by melancholy Art G. in the 70's, that also used to sound even sonically better in the Quad version! This is a great compilation of very, very good songs on Breakaway and one worth keeping!

Robin of Sherwood
1 of 1 found this helpful This Brit. ROS series (originally shown on Showtime 1983-5) is an absolutely superb production in conveying the harsh and bleak conditions in 1180 that gave rise to this 'legend' that persists to this day! The well-researched and written series gives the best realism possible via. some rather eye-opening historical 'truisms' that are revealed by the brilliant performances of guest stars like John Rhys Davies, Matt Frewer and Rula Lenska (utterly wonderful)! ROS was filmed in what little wooded area remaining standing today in England, as well as it's castles (but don't expect any liner-note details or even an episode listing inside this 2018 'economy' release...just 5 dvd's with all 22 episodes.) But for this cheaper price you will get a guaranteed 'keeper', and hours of 'down to earth' entertainment that's only solidified even more with the haunting background scoring by Clannad. All the acting is superb, especially the Sheriff of Nottingham! And all the archery special effects feel very real indeed! My eyes still well up any time I watch the episode where Michael Praed finally comes to face-to-face with The Greatest Enemy!
