funny book, also recommend Turnover Tuesday in the series
Funny book for preschoolers, second in series starting with Turnover Tuesday. Other titles Wed through Saturday not as good.

Grandma's Attic series, characters growing up
This is a wonderful series of books starting with Grandma's Attic. As the title character grows up, she goes off to school with her best friend Sarah Jane. The books are funny and true to life and keep you wanting to read more. I've read all of them twice. Good for elementary through adult.

multicultural, board books
the books in this series are simple, multicultural board books. The illustrations are very appealing and feature clay fiqures. There are many in the series including Vacation, Birthday, Jobs (my favorite, with a woman wearing a sari), Farm, Weather, etc. Pages have lots of detail and a warm family feeling.
