Powerflex Wheel Mount Guide Pin for Suzuki Swift Sport MK3 (10-17) PF99-512-15
12 September 2023
It Works Well, But Better With Two.
This is a high-quality product, which is reflected in the price, but it gives the impression that it will last for quite a while. I use a more basic version of this type of tool in my job, when working on German sports cars, and for any car/van with wheel bolts, (lug bolts), it is invaluable when dismounting and mounting road wheels, to avoid the wheel slipping off the centring spigot and possibly damaging the caliper, or your hand. The sleeve on the shank of the pin is, I believe, 3D printed and is very low friction to ease wheel movement along the pin. The pin itself is high grade 303 stainless steel, with an anodised tapered end, to avoid wheel damage. This is the second PowerAlign tool I have purchased, as my Suzuki has quite a shallow centring spigot, and just one pin can still allow the wheel to slip, if the hub rotates. This is why I now use two pins, as with just one, the wheel slipped and damaged the finish of my freshly painted calipers. Alternatively, you could place a holding rod on the brake pedal, but if you own a car with carbon ceramic brake discs, (rotors), you definitely need two of these. One final comment about the PowerAlign pin is that the thread that screws into the hub is relatively long, and for some cars that have handbrake drums integrated into the rear discs, (rotors), there may be a chance that the end of the pin could make contact with the handbrake mechanism, with unfavourable tolerances, as the Germans say. (Apologies if the photos are wrong, I can't change them).
Osram Premium LED Indicator Bulbs 582/382W Amber W21W W3x16d T20 1W 7905YE-02B

In This Application, For Me, NOT An Upgrade.
I bought these LED bulbs in the hope that they would be better than the standard WY21W capless standard front indicator bulbs in my recently purchased Suzuki Swift Sport. Firstly, there was a problem inserting the bulbs, but I believe that is a problem with the design of the bulb holder, rather than the bulb. I took the decision to modify the plastic base of the bulb slightly to allow fitment. The bulb then fitted easily and worked at the correct frequency and the on/off was 'sharper', but as I have read on other reviews, the light output in this application was inferior to the standard bulb still fitted in the other front indicator. These bulbs do not seem to shed any light towards any reflector in the bulb housing and rely only on the forward facing LED output, so in this particular application, I cannot recommend these bulbs. Sadly, for me, it was a waste of time and money.

8M Premium Socket To Router Broadband Internet DSL Cable RJ11- RJ11 Full Speed

A Premium Quality Cable
I have waited over 9 years for FTTC broadband to become available to me, so I wanted to make sure that my centrally placed modem/router would not be compromised by a poor-quality DSL cable, such as those often provided by an ISP. This modem position is around 7-8 metres from the main BT socket, so I did some research into what cables were available. Suffice it to say that there are quite a few, but the description of the benefits of this particular cable seemed to make sense to me. By using copper twisted pair conductors, it is made to resist extraneous signals from other items it may need to be run close to. It is only around 4mm diameter, so can be routed more easily than a Cat5 or Cat6 cable for instance. Overall, it is a quality product. The main result is that my new FTTC broadband is around 7-8 times faster than my previous ADSL service, and I am happy that I have done the right thing by fitting a cable of this quality.
