This is my second pair of Fox Sergeant shorts, and the first are still going strong. Faded, worn in places, but still my go to bike shorts. These aren't cheap in the UK, not a lot of people stock them, and you are paying for a pair of padded liner shorts as well. It says a lot for these that even though I barely used the liner on my original pair, I still think that it is worth buying another pair.
LCD Digital Large Kitchen Cooking Timer Count-Down Up Clock Loud Alarm Magnetic

Buy cheap, buy twice
This isn't a bad timer, in fact it has all the features I wanted, and at a very reasonable price. Pity about the quality control, however. Part of the LCD display doesn't work, and while it is possible to use the timer, it isn't ideal. At the price, it isn't worth going through the hassle of returning it for a refund or exchange, but if I buy another, there isn't any guarantee that the same problem won't occur, and the timer effectively doubles in price. As they say, buy cheap, buy twice.
TP-LINK Archer C9 AC1900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Cable Router 1900Mbps UK

Very pleasantly surprised
I bought this because of persistent problems with my Virgin Super Hub 3. I wanted a separate router so I could run the Hub 3 just as a modem. I was beginning to lose the will to live trying to pick a router at a reasonable price from the huge available choice when a friend recommended the Archer C7, which they used, and I found a manufacturer refurbished C9 for the same price, which gave me better performance and features like beamforming. I was expecting all sorts of grief setting up the new router, but was frankly astonished at how smoothly it all went, even including a firmware update. The user interface to set up via the browser was an order of magnitude better than most such things, and the biggest hassle was having to set up everything to use a new network.
2.4GHz and 5 GHz show up as two separate networks, rather than two speeds within the same network. I set the 5 GHz as the one used to connect to the Internet, and logged all the PCs etc. into that one without problems, even for the older machines.
Still some intermittent issues with Internet connection, as the Hub 3 has known bugs which haven't been fixed by a firmware update in over a year, but the wi-fi network is immensely improved. Excellent value for money, and mercifully easy to use.
