I put it on, connected the four wires, and everything worked.
Four wires and since the yellow wires are for the AC motor you can hook it up either way. And since the red wires are for a simple switch (to turn on your furnace), you can hook those up either way. Just don't mix the yellow and red, and you'll be fine.

Too brittle for any application
I put this on the freewheel, clamped it with the skewer, put just a wrench on it to see if the freewheel would come off easy, gave it about 15 foot pounds of torque, and the tool split in two.

It's a wide freewheel-hub axle set.
It's a standard axle for multi-speed freewheel hubs. At 7.3" (advertised as 6.8"), it's wide enough for a 135mm-spaced frame plus bolt-on derailleur bracket. It can be shortened if needed. It includes bearing cones that fit most rear freewheel hubs (the nine 1/4" balls per side standard). The extra-thick lock nuts are specific to some other hub than the one you probably own, but could be "close enough" if you add or remove washers.
