A Step Up - Worth the upgrade
Definitely a step up from the old Actiontec router with better security, more networks and better range. On my old system, I was only ever able to get about 50 mbps (usually about 30) throughput, even though my FIOS connection is rated at 75. After installing the new router, which was up and running in under 30 minutes, multiple speed tests had my wireless now cruising at over 80 mbps. The down side to the additional speed is that it is on the 5 GHz band and the range is somewhat limited. I will also caveat that with the point that I run the router from the basement (that's where the coax connection is) so I don't expect a super strong signal on the second floor. Even so, there is a fairly significant signal degradation just upstairs from the router.
Bottom line: Performance improvement was noticeable and range increase is just okay. Definitely worth the investment to upgrade from the old Verizon router.

Great for use on airplanes!
Finally a volume control that DOESN'T rely on the phone (or other device) to adjust the volume. This is great for those times when you want a more refined control over the sound. It's especially good for use on airplanes, where the digital volume controls just don't work.

Perfect Replacement, Runs Like a Champ!
Perfect replacement for my 25cc Craftsman leaf blower. It took about 20 minutes to replace the old one. The most difficult portion was feeding the new fuel line into the gas tank. Once that was done, it only took a minute to start the blower and it ran like new. My leaf blower didn't use gaskets, so I did not use them. One thing that could make this slightly better would be to include the replacement thin fuel line that is used for priming the carburetor. Fortunately, I had some available.
