So far so good!
Don’t let me be misunderstood. Like the song says. This is one of those products we buy at the house to solve a problem and we are only into the first week of use. First of all, yes, we have the algae problem and we decided to empty the pool and refill it with clean water before starting to use it. The instructions are very brief. So we are learning how to use this product properly. Firstly, you have to keep it on the sunny side of the pool, we had to tie it with a couple of strings to keep it from wandering into the shades. Secondly, with the strip testing we might have to take it out of the pool if it shows too much copper residue in the water. Additionally, it says nowhere how long the copper anode is expected to last in order to get a replacement. So we still have to learn a lot.
