Just what I was looking for...
5 of 5 found this helpful This laptop is small, light weight and has a long battery life... it is also fan-less and has a solid state drive which makes it very rugged. It outperforms my 11 year old Dell ( which cost $1,200 in 2005) and runs most of the old software I had. For the price(I paid less than $200), it is better than anything anyone else offered.

Limited software...
4 of 7 found this helpful Great value if you want an unsupported tablet. Microsoft used an ARM based processor so don't expect it to run your old windows based software. To make it worse, Google is a competitor to Microsoft so don't expect it to run Android based software, even with its ARM processor... long story short, its unlikely that anyone will develop new apps for this tablet. I would recommend getting a newer Surface model that is Intel based... or better yet, buy an Android based tablet.
