A great edition for a first-time Dewey reader
I bought this book as a requirement for a masters-level education class. I had read Dewey many times before, but had not yet read these two pieces. This edition includes a twenty-page (or so) introduction by the editor, describing his theories as to why Dewey's ideas have yet to be put into widespread use. If you are reading Dewey for the first time, this introduction might be a good epilogue to the book. Otherwise, I found it fairly useless.
