Excellent bang for the buck.

I purchased one of these 2 years ago and couldn't believe the quality for such an inexpensive light. I had looked at lights very similar to this one, but the cost of those lights ranged somewhere between 5 to 20 times the cost. So I figured what the heck, I'll spend the money on this one in full expectations of it being disposable. Was I ever wrong. This light was powerful. I'm talking super bright. The light was adjustable so from flood to focused beam it performed far better than I could have hoped. The headband was comfortable for hours on my head. This light does have some weight to it. The large rechargeable battery pack sits comfortably on the back of your head and is balanced with the lamp in front. The charge of the battery pack last for hours. I have used it in all sorts of weather conditions and it has not failed with pretty abusive use. I work as a truck driver and I'm mostly out at night. Many of my co-workers also use headlamps and have spent a large sum of money to get quality. This headlamp out performed theirs in lumen strength and hours of use on a single charge. Within a week, all my co-workers purchased one of their own. Needless to say, I'm pretty happy with my purchase and just bought another one for my brother. My original one after 2 years is still working like a champ.

Good out the box

Keep in mind my review is in no way comparing it to a high end professional camera. With that in mind this is a pretty decent camera out the box. The directions for setting it up are fairly straight forward and easy to follow. The camera quality is pretty good in bright light conditions. In low light conditions the ir lights are less than adequate. At close range they are at best ok. Anything more than 5ft away is pushing it. Again this is considered a low end camera, so for the money.....not bad. When moving the camera remotely it moves in slow short jerky spirts. If you are trying to maybe follow a person walking across the room, the camera won't keep up. Dollar for dollar, the camera is pretty good. If your on a budget, this is actually a good option. Don't expect HD quality. It just isn't there.
