Lovely book

I've read it a few times, all sorts of great advice and intriguing insights into what the time period and those that lived in it were experiencing.

Delectable.

While I strongly disagree with Barbara's politics, I completely adore her taste in decorating, her choices in what to surround herself with and her delightful way of presenting her ideas honestly and with candor. I wanted this book for Christmas, but decided at $65 it was too pricey for me. I waited and waited, and then by Valentines day I was still coveting it. So I purchased it. I've spent long hours just breathing in the pages, smiling (and coveting a little) the gorgeousness that is possible. She has an almost child-like simplicity amongst the splendor that is hard to match. In another circumstance, I expect we would be good friends, she and I. If you are into visual feasts, this is a book to put in your own living area. It will grace your life for many hours to come. MSK

LOVE, love love.

Unfortunately, I left my first one at an event, and no one turned it into the lost and found. Sadly folks aren't as honest as once upon a time. Anyway, I couldn't live without it, so I purchased another. I sit a lot due to music coaching, and this saves me! It is perfect.
