A great documentary on Rod Stewart's best era
Despite the fact that all the featured songs are shown only partly, and the muddy sound of some of the clips (just a few of them), this film, made in 1988 and available at the time on home video, remains the best documentary I've seen about Rod Stewart . Never a dull moment, each song chase the previous one, and we are treated to liner biographical notes all thru the movie, which give indications to Rod and the Faces' career . This will make the viewer understand that, before exiling to Los Angeles and become a disco and AOR singer, Rod Stewart was a real rock'n'roller with one of the best english bands of that period .
