Lemons with no bitter taste
A great album that includes all the songs that track the changing shape of the Lemonheads and Evan Dando's song writing. A good selection of songs from Lovey and A Shame About Ray, though misses out Oven - a love song to an oven! I would recommend heartily. If all you know of the Lemonheads is the cover of Mrs. Robinson, then this album will be a very pleasant surprise.

Frank Boscoe at his best
The third Gazetteers album, 'We Are Here' is both catchy, humorous and clever. Frank Boscoe (Wimp Factor 14, Vehicle Flips) teams up here with The Sisterhood Of Convoluted Thinkers duo Jeannine Durfee and Rob Christiansen (also of Eggs, Grenadine and Viva Satellite). Frank Boscoe continues with his clever wordplay while keeping his routes firmly in American Indie and a touch of melodious pop. This to me is his most accessible work and the best work since the Wimp Factor 14 singles (found on 'The Bric-a-brac' compilation). His voice is reminiscent of John Darnielle of the Mountain Goats and Franklin Bruno of Nothing Painted Blue. Worth a listen. If you like Eggs, Unrest and Uncle Wiggly I think you will like this.
