Compact RF small signal non-latching relay
Compact surface mount relay with excellent characteristics to 50MHz and usable to 100MHz.
The 12VDC coil has an inductance of 440mH. The contacts are Au-alloy + AgNi.
The following would apply for use in a 10MHz 50 ohm environment:
Isolation between a stationary contact and the movable contact connected to the adjacent stationary contact terminated with 50 ohm is approximately 55dB.
The insertion loss between a stationary contact and the movable contact is approximately 0.02dB.
The return loss between a movable contact connected to a stationary contact terminated with 50 ohm is approximately 42dB.
The following would apply for use in a 100MHz 50 ohm environment:
Isolation between a stationary contact and the movable contact connected to the adjacent stationary contact terminated with 50 ohm is approximately 25dB.
The insertion loss between a stationary contact and the movable contact is approximately 0.02dB.
The return loss between a movable contact connected to a stationary contact terminated with 50 ohm is approximately 25dB.
The contact DC resistive load varies from 1.0A at 30VDC to 0.136A at 220VDC.
The contact AC resistive load varies from 1.0A at 30VAC to 0.25A at 250VDC.

Smooth motion. Designed to be used with 0.25" diameter knob shafts.
I needed 4 knobs for projects that I have under way plus a couple in the future. This offering allowed me to purchase what I needed immediately plus additional for the future for the cost of 3 new units. The assembly is all metal with the exception of the splined, plastic knob and the handle on the locking brake.
The knob will accomodate potentiometers with up to 15 turns.
The unit has a rear section diameter of approximately 7/8" (22mm). It fitted easily to the cast alumininum box that I installed the first on. A single lug assembly instralls under the nut that holds the potentiometer on the face plate. This makes the device a snap to install. The locking brake works very well.
The only isuue that I had was that all the knobs were very stiff when I initially tried to rotate them. A couple of small doses of WD-40 into the cavities on the inside of the knob assembllies fixed the problem.The motion is velvety smooth now.

Solid, well manufactured product. The two solder pins may be replaced with threaded studs if an alternated mounting method is requied.
