Memoir style true story of abuse

This is a novel style memoir of the authors experiences growing up and eventually leaving a very abusive father, and difficult mother. It follows the horrendous sexual abuse by her father, how she eventually was able to tell her story to trusted relatives, and the eventual and difficult prosecution of her abuser/father. A compelling read, I could not put it down! It highlights the difficulties in victims coming forward, the difficulties faced when prosecuting offenders, and the family dynamics and massive struggles faced with such a abusive trauma to all family members.
