Sometimes things are best >>left alone<<
0 of 1 found this helpful The difference between the original and this remake?? I would think the addition of non-stop guts/gore over an original that had suspense at its crux. Suspense....that long forgotten Hitchcock mode where the unknown is sometimes worse than the known blood soon to be splattering over the film. The original can be seen over and over and you will still be asking yourself questions on why Hauer does what he does. The unsaid but papable sexual theme between Hauer and Howell caps an already unsettling/unerving film. >>Sometimes it is best left not to remake, (repackage?), a film for profit<< Rent/buy the original and leave it at that..................
