Solves USB Powered Scanner Problems.
I had patched two USB cables together to get one long enough to reach the Scanner on the far side of my Wife's desk.
Every 2-4 pictures, the USB Scanner would just disappear.
I bought this cable in hopes it would solve the loss of power with my old cable.
Voila!!! It has been bulletproof since then!
Instead of having Data #28 wire for the power, it has Telephone #24 wire.
Good stuff!!!

TV Tuner Card and Windows 7
This TV card works great with Window Media Center which is in Windows 7.
Windows 8 and 10 do not come with Media Center.
Up until Jan 31 2013 you could get an add on for Windows 8, but no more.
You can forget it in Windows 10.
There are Third party programs, but I am not familiar with the way they work.
So if you are planning on using this with Windows 8 or 10 you will have to run the software that comes included, which in my opinion is definitely lacking to the functionality of Windows Media Center in Windows 7.
I own two of these cards so I can watch TV while my wife watches the big TV.

I would buy again, and have.
I run this SSD drive for my "C" drive and it makes the machine boot up lightning fast! Windows 7 and a few programs takes half (30GB) of the 60 GB drive, so there is plenty of room (but not too much wasted) to spare. My computer is very quiet since there is no motor spinning the drive. I use a conventional hard drive for "D" where all my data is stored. When I decide to upgrade the OS or if I get a virus and need to format the drive, all my data is on another drive, safe.
