An everyday cookbook that gets a resounding 10 out of 10 in my kitchen!
1 of 1 found this helpful With all the hype and frantic information out there regarding what is good and what is not so good for you, this book really unleashes a sense of credibility like no other.
I purchased this book at a time when my insulin dependent husband was not eating any form of meat at all, and was beside myself as to what I should substitute for his protein and still maintain a low carb diet.
With simple to follow "no nonsense" recipes, The Low GI Vegetarian Cookbook has become a firm favaourite, even for entertaining! It is a pure delight to watch the faces on our dinner guests when they are told that they are eating a low carb vegetarian meal!!
I was so encouraged by the simplicity of the preparation of the meals, and the fact that I already had most of the ingredients in my pantry and fridge, made them super economical at the same time! No fancy hard to find ingredients to confuse you with, unlike other cookbooks of a similar genre.
My rating as a kitchen must have?? 10 out of 10 for the originality, style and presentation of what has turned out to be a fun and interesting adventure in our kitchen!

Ninja: a dream come true!
My new Ninja Dual Zone Air Fryer is a game changer! With the capacity to air fry, roast, reheat and bake anything I want, it has fast replaced so many of my other appliances! And the max crisp function!!!! To die for! Well worth the investment, it is sleek, practical and so so easy to use! And cleaning is the easiest I have ever seen! I’m hooked 3

You cannot beat simplicity and style with this Tom Tom 10 GPS
We purchased a rather snazzy GPS unit for my elderly mum so she could easily travel from her house in Sydney to our house inCanberra without getting lost. Thing is, it was waaay to fancy for her, and after two or three attempts at trying to use it, she gave up!
It did all but make her coffee and serve it in bed! It played music, it took photos, it had Bluetooth connectivity and it even served as a reversing camera for the car to be able to detect objects in its way when reversing. Now I am not sure about anyone else, but putting that kind of advanced superior technology in front of a little grey haired old granny is lethal!
Then I saw this terrific little gadget for sale and could hardly believe my luck! I researched many models and brands of GPS for my mum and this one was the closest one to an original Tom Tom 1 that I myself purchased a few years back for my work. It was very hard to source because nowadays GPS systems are so advanced and so techno savvy that you need a university degree to download the user manual!!!
But thanks to this Tom Tom 10, it has given us back the simplicity of the older versions. It is compact in size but has a clearly visible screen. It has the capacity to dim the brightness for altered driving conditions, eg night driving. It is so so so so simple to use. I does not sing to me, it does not take my picture, it does not bake bread! It gets me where I need to go in the easiest, clearest and simplest of manners.
Oh, did I tell you that I kept it for myself? Sorry mum, but this one was just too good to let go, so I am buying her a street directory and a magnifying glass... This baby is MINE! And thanks to my favourite go to online shopping site of eBay - I got it for a steal! Made my whole shopping experience almost as perfect as the Tom Tom 10 itself!
Would I recommend it? You bet your last street directory I would!
