Don’t buy mettler AE balances, buy 3 and 1 good.
This balance came to me with two broken glass panes due to UPS handling. The shipper had packaged it perfectly. But no matter how you package a balance like this , UPS will break it!
Ship FedEx instead. The Ae series balances were discontinued in 1996. Most of them that you will receive from eBay are no longer usable
Because the load cells suffer from metal fatigue and will not stabilize. I had to buy 3 to get one that was good. Never pay more than $50.00 for one of these AE series balances.
