A really nice mid-range android phone with high end features
Phone arrived and it felt nice in the hand. It was the same size as my Honor 7, but the screen is noticeably larger, which is good. Comparing it with the Honor 7 it was lighter. the touchscreen was very responsive and the colours looked nice. It was fast and easy to set up. There was absolutely NO bloatware and just plain old android with the most basic apps. This meant that we could install JUST the apps we needed.
The phone is for my husband. He has a Samsung Galaxy Note that has been glitching and causing trouble. He likes the P9000 because it does just what he needs it for. He hates all the extras that Samsung pile on and once we installed everything he wanted, including all his games, the apps only took up 2.5GB of space.
We set up the phone before inserting the SIM card. Then our heart stopped. It would not read the SIM card at all. It was a 3 sim. it was very old and had been cut to a micro sim size from a large sim. We tried it several times.
I then tried the SIM card from my Honor 7, using an adaptor to increase it from nano sim to micro sim size. The P9000 uses a micro sim. The card picked up immediately and the phone was fully functional. So I ordered a replacement SIM card from 3 for my husband.
I bought a fast wireless charger from eBay. It arrived today and as soon as I plugged it in and placed the phone onto its dock, the phone immediately began charging. So I can confirm that it does use Qi wireless charging well.
I love this phone so much, that I have bought one for myself to replace my Honor 7. It has 32 GB storage compared to 16 GB in my other phone. It also has NFC and Wireless charging and a larger screen.
I haven't used the fingerprint scanner yet. I will update my review once I have used it on my own phone. But I would recommend this phone if you are looking for a mid-priced phone with high end functions.

Brilliant phone at brilliant price!!
This little phone does everything you want it to do. Despite it being a vga camera, it takes amazingly clear pictures. The sound quality is great as well. Had one for my daughter and bought this one for my little cousin. It expands up to 2gig using transflash, readily available for under £4 including postage. This means that you can store music and pictures on it.
It comes with a headset for listening ot music and the radio. It is lightweight and stylish, a classic combination for a young teenager or older child that won't be a target for thieves but has enough class not to be geeky.
I would reccommend this phone for anyone who wants to do a bit with their phone, but do not want a huge price tag.
Highly reccommended.
