High Quality Neutrik Jack Plugs Resolve our problem with repeat failures!
2 of 2 found this helpful As Chief Engineer at our local hospital radio station I needed good quality 6.35mm jack plugs to solve a problem with repeated plug failures on our Beyer Dynamic DT108 headphones. I have utilised Neutrik equipment in the past and it has always been of high quality. The right angled design has reduced the stress on our cable as the cable now hangs horizontally before leaving the bench and dropping vertically under it's own mass. Our previous straight plugs meant that the joint was stressed vertically as soon as it left the audio mixer and the plugs all failed after a few months. These superb quality plugs are easy to fit as they have a large pre-tinned joint area with lots of room into which one can use a soldering iron. At the rear of the plug their is a collett arrangement which tightens around the cable jacket once adjusted and this plug has resolved our problems. Highly recommended!

Low Cost but Good Quality Passive Volume Controller
This was purchased to control an emergency back up CD player for my local hospital radio station. The CD player has a fixed high volume as it is designed to go via a mixer input channel. However, in our case the CD player is an emergency back up installed to play whenever the mixer or automated play out system fails. Therefore it's output is fed straight out into the hospital entertainment systems. This passive volume control is easy to install, having standard XLR input and output connections and was ideal for our project. It is a good quality low cost solution for our problem and I recommend it for such use. A very good piece of kit for the price and we now have easy control of our back up CD player output volume.

Good Quality Equipment Bag
I purchased this Gator bag to transport and protect my new Behringer X1204USB audio mixer. The quality is superb and the mixer is a perfect fit for this case. The joints are all double stitched and the zips are of very high quality. There are a number of pockets for items such as my microphone, XLR cables and the mains cable provided with the mixer. As always one gets what one pays for. There are cheaper bags around but I wanted a quality bag that would last the life of my new mixer. This Gator bag is perfect. A very good bag and recommended.
