Never flatted on Continentals
I run the 4 season on my training bike and the 4000's on my racer. The bottom line is that Continental is the preferred brand when you wan the best: lightweight, puncture resistance and gripping. I've tried many others in the past and these are all I ride now with 10,000+ miles under my belt. Go with "Gatorskins" if you want tires that sacrifice weight but are bullet proof.

The best in the biz!
This is the true survivalist must have. I remember when the best watches had temp readings. I love the compass the most for survival. You could literally find your way out of the toughest terrain and know your elevation to direct you in the most efficient method for a proper decent. It's accuracy is incredible. It's a true made in Japan item from Casio so you know it's their best. Never gonna regret paying $600+ for a life saver!

Taiwan ain't China
I'm super picky about quality even on a low ticket item like this. however, my preference, made in USA or Germany is a rarity these days so Taiwan is a solid COI to have stuff made. I can only visually attest to the craftsmanship of this set and testify to the fact that I bought it to tighten 2 bolts on my fairlead for my Warn winch. Nonetheless, it's sturdy stuff that is nice to count among my never not expanding tool kit should I decide to take up another hobby like very foreign car mechanics.
