Ease of mind for a modern stock radio!
I did not know Pyramid was part of the Pyle Speaker family. I had "Pyle Driver" woofers in the late 70's! Cool :) Makes me have more confidence in the product.
I have a 2 amp power supply that was being over loaded by a Bearcat 980 radio. This poor amp was made in the day of small draw radios in the 70's. Now-a days the face is digital using more amps and of course higher modulation power, thus popping 2 fuses on me after 15-20 minutes of jabbering on air. The transformer was "Hotter than a Pistol". This little bad boy Pyramid has a 2.5 amp constant and 3 amp surge. It's a great upgrade to my "Fleet" that includes a 35 amp, this 2.5 amp and the weak 2 amp. After talking for an hour or two It's nice & warm, but not hot. I'm tickled pink with this new power supply. Now my poor old 2 amp power supply has a 70's SBE 23 channel on it letting it take it easy lol.
