Japanese Kitchen Cooking Chef Sushi Santoku Knife Fish Meat Fruit Vegetable 8"
    12 June 2017
    A Fantastic Knife
I love my ceramic knives , but they can chip . Stainless is nice , but tomatoes have tough skins sometimes . I was looking for a high carbon steel kitchen knife other than stainless , and I don't know what this is made of , but the Japanese have something called A-2 stainless , and it will take the best edge of any any stainless I have ever used . Whatever , this knife will slice a tomato like a Jedi light saber . I like knives and have many for different uses . This will most probably become my favorite . The cost was nominal , and it was in my hands 36 hours after I placed the order . I AM BLOWN AWAY .

NEW! Mil-Spec P-51 Can Opener *Stainless Steel* G.I. Military Issue *Made in US*

    delux can opener
Military my a** , the MRE meal ready to eat is 7,000 calories in a plastic sack , but I need a can opener , and it should be handy and SMALL . At my old age , truck camping at the lake or river is about it . I can't remember ever taking canned goods in my backpack , but we did have a few canned goods while river rafting the San Juan . My father still carried his P-38 , a smaller version from WWII if you can believe that .

This book is one of a trilogy - I have read all three
I grew up with his cousins ; I knew his father . It is written as fiction , and even his cousins don't know how much is factual , and maybe the scars didn't happen as described , but he has them . I know for a fact that he liked his 6 tours of duty in Nam and was kicked out on a psycho discharge . Well , that certainly sounds crazy to me , but reading his books will put you in the jungle . You can smell the smoke and feel the heat ; it is that descriptive , so I had to read it again . I don't often read a book twice , but Rolling Thunder and Wizard of the Upper Amazon are the other two , and this is the third one . Long out of print , these are some excellent books if you can find them , and they are all about the life of a person so far away from what we consider as " normal " . What more can I say ?
