sharpmaker - you want this
the sharpmaker wins in several ways - makes your blades super sharp, does not remove huge amounts of steel, takes only a minute to set up and you can restore your blade in just a few minutes. finer and courser rods are available but not really needed for general use, very simple operation that you will learn very quickly with the accompanying dvd or a quick search around on youtube.
if you want sharp kitchen/outdoor knives then I highly recommend you get this. makes a great gift too!

not recommended
Pros - none
Cons - doesn't work - won't light up, unit not recognised by pc or controller, unable to update drivers, fell apart and I've put sticky tape to hold it together

powerful, lightweight, customisable
1 of 1 found this helpful Great price, awesome throw, easy to use, multiple customisable settings. I have a wolf eyes torch which cost more and this is every bit as good, maybe better due to the customisation.
