Nordic Popover Pan
I bought the large size with room for only 6 popovers. They come out very large. I would have preferred the mini pan. It's a lot to eat for one person. I did give it a 3 star for its good quality and reasonable price. I would recommend this size for healthy eaters .

Pampered Chef Oven Mitts
These mitts are thick, soft and comfortable. They are pricey, but worth the money. Here's why : the last pair (which was my first pair), has been worn and washed for 25 years. Yes, that's right, 25 years. So buy a pair and bon appetit!!

My Bread by Jim Lahey
1 of 1 found this helpful I own many cookbooks. I mostly gourmet cook or I bake. I've actually worked as a pastry chef. I never dabbled with the bread making, mainly because it is so easy to buy an artisanal loaf these days. It is much more difficult to find a high quality baked good that isn't "like all the rest". I read an article about this boo
k and the method it uses. I decided to bake the plain rustic loaf in the beginning of the book.Well, being me, that sounded too easy, so I decided to crisp up about 12oz. of bacon, crumble it, and small dice about 8oz. of fontina cheese and toss it in with some course ground black pepper. Not only was the recipe so simple a child could do it, but the loaf actually turned out quite well. I cut some up and brought it out with me to some of my friends and asked what they thought of it. They said that it was tastey and the more they ate, the more they wanted ! Well that says it all right there. My only advice is that with all baking, your measurements should be precise and I do suggest weighing your ingredients with a scale. I hope my review encourages you to step out of the box and try bread baking. I used a Lodge Logic 5qt. dutch oven pot with lid for my loaf. Bon Appetit !
