Maybe expected too much.
These envelope "bags" can do the job but are 6" wide but hardly contain a DVD without an effort squeezing them in the opening. The bubble wrap seems a little flimsy. It's better for things smaller than a DVD case. It is a matter of "getting what you paid for" in my opinion.
