They chug
I was looking for a set of pups for my VB300. I use some pedals and high output or hot pups just make them noisy and not able to make the sounds like they are supposed too. I was also wanting a warner sound that was also more articulate. I watched the bridge comparison video on SD web site while wearing head phones and decided on the Pegasus. The sentient was and added bonus. This set is well balanced and offers good output and a warm articulate tone while still retaining plenty of bite and sizzle. I highly recommend for down tuning, and analog pedal use into any style amp. I will be testing with digital amp modeling soon.

Look at as a kit
4 of 4 found this helpful The MX180v is packed with some great features for a mini lathe. But there are some things you need to know before you buy it if your intent is to open it up and start turning.
The tail stock needs work. The tail spindle isnt chamfered the entire length of measure so it wont fully retract.
The cross slide is only drilled for the tool holder and the angle gauge in on the inside of the carriage.
The top slides feed shaft on the one I got is super wonky...and not even close to true.
The thing is covered in grit and trash.
And the drive cover doesnt line up.
I havent yet checked the bed and spindle head stock for alignment, however I read in another review that the one he got was perfect.
Actually all the tin covers are out of wack.
Be prepared to dissasemble, clean, make repairs and adjustments from the start.
While all the pieces are here, and fairly nice..it is not a finished and set up machine out of the crate.
At this price it is a worthwhile investment IF you know how to operate, maintain and modify a lathe.

These are the nice ones.
I bought a different brand a while back and they were full of flaws and the chrome started coming off in less than 2 years. These are every bit as nice as the stock Honda castings.
