Was brought upon Kathleen Ferrier music. My mother knew her when they were at school in Blackburn in the 1920s. Love all her music . . . particularly on this CD . . . . .What is Life ? [Che faro]

Brilliant !

I absolutely love this music and particularly to hear all the slight variations on it . . . .as on this excellent CD. Have been playing it every day ! The Canon is suitable for so many different occasions. We chose it for the entrance music at our wedding . . . . . .and I chose it for the entrance and exit music at my husband's funeral a few weeks ago. It has both happy and sad memories for me . . . .and is always in my mind.
