Remarkable Musical
Very good film with very good tap dance numbers of Eleanor Powell and others.
I love the scene, where Eleanor Powell with Buddy Rich are mutual throwing drumsticks to themselves. The very young Frank Sinatra sings two songs.
And also Red Skelton and Bert Lahr are very funny in this movie.

Buster Keaton in a military comedy and lovestory
Also this movie has many funny moments. Desperate advances to his adored girl, Mary (Sally Eillers).
She is magnificent.
When cooking, Buster accidentally pours the rinse water onto a pilot officer.
Buster pushes it onto the camp cook out of fear. His revenge is bitter, Buster has to go to
the camp lazarett. He leaves this with a heavy bandage, but immediately turns back after stumbling.
The ukule sung scene with his soldier buddies is also wonderful.
And where Buster accidentally throws his choleric sergeant into the mud.
Buster Keaton was artistically restricted at MGM, but this film is absolutely worh seeing.

Elaborate musical film with funny moments
This is the story of a soldier Eddie Marsh (Gene Kelly) in the US Army,
he falls in love with Kathryn (Kathryn Grayson), the daughter of his commanding officer.
Eddie is a former trapez artist, he is supposed to appear at the army variety show.
What he does among other artists, like Eleanor Powell and Judy Garland.
I think the best numbers in this film are Gene Kelly's dance with the mob -
'Let me call your sweetheart', the boogie woogie tapdance of Eleanor Powell,
Judy Garland sings 'The Joint is really jumpin' in Carnegie Hall and
Virginia O'Brien with 'In a little spanish town'.
All in all memorable Entertainment.
