Made for the job

It arrived very quickly and was a perfect fit. A bit on the expensive side but.. it has saved the whole lantern so in the grand scheme of things it was worth it! Would have preferred one made in the USA rather than China but other than that perfecto!

The real original part

Thanks to these guys I was able to save my Henry Hoover being thrown in the skip. The original motor is not made anymore but they have an ingenious adaptor in the form of a plastic collar that takes the motor to the size of the original. It could simply not be done any other way. Well done and thanks

Passable but only with a mod!

I've given this an OK rating, and that's because I feel it will probably do the job but I had to modify it as follows ~ It comes with short pieces of tube bolted on to allow it to stand off from the wall. That's all ok until you try and get it back into the box or in any kind of shape to store... absolutely impossible! They say it's tangle free?.. no way. It actually becomes a nightmare to try and untangle it.. so much so that I almost thought it was a 'one use only then throw away product'. I've unbolted and taken off all the stand off tubes except for about 4 at the top, to allow an escapee to get a grip. Once that's done it packs away in reasonable order. Apart from that it looks like it will do the job.. I just hope it never has to be used.
