Roland Mobile Cube: Battery Powered Stereo Amplifier

Pocket magic

Having read the Spec I was slightly sceptical that the tried and tested Cube could deliver. When it arrived I thought "Oh... it's really small". However, when I powered it up and starting using it - Wow! The Cube offers a great range of options for inputs and for outputs. Plug in a mic and guitar and MP3. Or a mic Keyboard and MP3 or perm any 2 from these. Enjoy a range of inspiring guitar sounds that enliven your performance. It won't fill the Albert Hall, but it is perfect for playing at home, rehearsing with the band, busking or a small venue. You can buy a DC adaptor for home use or just bulk buy Duracell AA's to play anywhere. Still need to see if I can output the sounds to my PC via the phones socket / USB - don't see why not.

Did the job, but a bit pricey

Very expensive considering the size of the items. On the plus size, the new part has worked well and stopped the leak + I have a spare for next time. The small teeth on the key are not very robust, so do not force it. You may need a magnifying glass to see the numbers on the key and TRV dial in order to match them up.
