Compact with excellent image and build quality.
I actually first bought the Zeiss 50mm f/1.4 Planar, which is renowned for it's image quality. Unfortunately my copy had some serious focus issues. I got a refund from Sony and later bought this 55mm Sonnar f/1.8. It is much smaller and lighter. The image quality is excellent, with just a bit of chromatic aberration to deal with in post. The out of focus background also gets a bit swirly at the closest focus distance, because of the optical design, and that is something to be aware of.
The build quality of the 55mm f/1.8 is excellent. The metal barrel and large, perfectly damped focus ring are stand outs. The only reason I docked a star from my review is that the lens lacks controls. A lot of FE lenses do away with the (useful) aperture ring but, unlike this lens, most have an AF/Manual focus switch. It is annoying to have to go into the menu to select manual focus. Other than that, this is an excellent lens for professional and serious amateur use. I would highly recommend it.

Good but the suction cup lets go.
The iOottie Easy One Touch 4 is a high quality phone holder. The quick attachment for your phone works very well and is really quick to use. The arm is very adjustable and allows a lot of scope for placing your phone.
For my car I need the suction mount system. It comes with a pad that you can stick to the textured surface of the dashboard and has a smooth surface that the suction cup attaches to. The pad stays where you put it, but unfortunately, the suction cup adhesive is not great. It certainly seems to be sticky but mine fell off three times in the first two weeks. It is perfectly clean and so is the surface it sticks to. I previously had the iOottie Easy One Touch 3 and that had the same problem. I thought the adhesive had dried up in the Australian heat but this new one falls off too, and it's winter, so heat is not a factor. They need to have another look at the suction cup system.
I would recommend the iOottie Easy One Touch 4, but not the suction cup version.

OEM quality at a big saving
It is not possible to review a replacement car battery after a couple of weeks unless there is an obvious problem. What I can say is BMW uses Varta Batteries as original equipment. It is also made in the same factory as Bosch batteries (read, the same battery). This battery is significantly cheaper than the BMW branded original and, as long as you have a suitable tool to register the change with the car, it is very easy to fit yourself.
