Easy to use offering reasonable protection.
We got a hail storm warning which, luckily, didn't happen. But I did race out and put the hail cover over the car just in case. So, while I haven't yet had it in action during a hail storm, I can say that it looks like it would protect the car from usual size hail stones and that it was easy to put on the car for the first in the dark.

Perfect for the job.
I use these with Rode condenser mics, which have a thicker than normal barrel to accommodate a battery. They can be hard to get in and out of the usual mic holders, but the Hercules clip makes it easy.
